ABOUT
Photography, for me, has always been about noticing — the way people move, interact, and the small moments that happen naturally. My background is in fine art, where I studied painting, and that experience continues to shape the way I see and compose an image. Outside of weddings, I still photograph regularly, particularly street photography, and spend a lot of time visiting galleries and exhibitions. It’s what keeps me curious and observant, and ultimately what draws me to weddings: people, emotion, movement and beautiful details, all unfolding within a single day.
My work is influenced by both documentary and editorial photography. I’m drawn to images that feel alive and honest, while still being considered in their composition, light and perspective. Rather than creating moments for the camera, I want to photograph what is already there — the atmosphere, the people you love, and everything that makes the day distinctly yours.
I approach every wedding with care, knowing that no two celebrations, couples or families are the same. Understanding what matters to you is an important part of my process, so we’ll talk through your plans and priorities beforehand — allowing you to be fully present on the day while I document it as it naturally unfolds.
ON THE DAY
My approach is documentary-led, with an editorial sensibility. For much of the day, I work quietly and intuitively, observing rather than directing and allowing moments to unfold naturally. I’m drawn to the fleeting things — a glance across the room, a quiet touch, movement, laughter, and moments you may not even notice as they happen. When a little direction is needed, particularly for portraits, I’ll gently step in, keeping things relaxed and natural while bringing a considered approach to composition, light and movement.
